Software Defined Home Automation
Stupka, Dominik ; Brejl,, Milan (referee) ; Povalač, Aleš (advisor)
This thesis is about development and construction of systems for building automation. At the beginning it´s focused on usage of building automation. Short describe used topology of installation and available systems on the market. The second chapter is about designing of hardware’s elements systems. Then it’s describing control unit Raspberry Pi 3, microprocessors for communication and slave modules. For my thesis I am also engaged in interface communication and designing of I/O systems. The third and fourth chapter is describing software equipment’s of the system. The parts of microprocessor firmware and manner of control logic creating and visualization in control unit module are described in details. Last chapter contains the description of construction of testing module and measuring of system parameters.
THD Analyzer
Ha, Tuan ; Drexler, Petr (referee) ; Mikulka, Jan (advisor)
This thesis deals with design of a THD analyzer for audio frequency. In the interduction, there is a description of methods of THD calculation and realization of THD analyzer. Suitable computing platform must be chosen with capability to process audio data. The expansion board is designed for audio acquisition. Part of this design is complete program that is capable of displaying spectrum and computing THD.
RGB MATRIX LED system
Sikora, Roman ; Fedra,, Zbyněk (referee) ; Hudcová, Lucie (advisor)
The bachelor thesis deals with the development of a control software for the rear RGB LED lamp, which allows to design and display any color schemes. The first part of the work aims at development of complete Raspberry Pi 3 control software. Next thing which the thesis deals with is design of user interface for Windows platform for easy creation of color schemes which includes typical functions for a rear lamps like a tial, stop, reverse, fog, direction indicator, coming home and leaving home. Next part of the work is implementation of the control for the model via CAN bus which is used in automotive technology, and to develop the control software for Windows platform. In the project the whole model with Raspberry Pi is tested for Conducted emissions.
Autonomous vehicle convoy control system architecture based on ROS framework
Buchta, Hynek ; Růžička, Michal (referee) ; Věchet, Stanislav (advisor)
This thesis deals with the problematics of designing control system for convoy of autonomous vehicles using software tools offered as part of the ROS framework, which must take into account possible future implementations of various types of sensors. Designed system is realized on a single-board computer Pi 3 platform, the Raspberry company product. The main input sense is camera stream connected via USB interface. Another important part of the system is a wireless network module allowing communication between vehicles in the convoy as well as remote access to each of them. The engines are directly controlled by a mbed LPC1768 microcontroller communicating through serial link.
Methods of post-quantum cryptography
Popelová, Lucie ; Dzurenda, Petr (referee) ; Malina, Lukáš (advisor)
In the last decades there has been such a fundamental development in the technologies including postquantum technologies. In case that the Shor algorithm would be used on quantum computers it is likely to solve mathematical problems in real time which are major for our security. It is necessary to focus on postquantum cryptography, which is able to resist quantum attacks and secure our systems. This work analyses and compares different types of postquantum cryptography. Afterwards this work chooses postquantum protocols which are measured and analysed on the PC and IoT device. Furthemore data are used to find the most effective postquantum protocol for key exchange and signature scheme.
Monitoring system of boiler room
Navrátil, Marek ; Valach, Soběslav (referee) ; Bradáč, Zdeněk (advisor)
Thisdiplomathesisdealswiththedesignofamonitoringsystemforsolidfuelboilers. The first describes the sensors most commonly used in boilers room including a description of the principle of operation. The main content of the thesis is the design of the own boiler monitoring system. First the appropriate structure of the entire system is selected followed by the detailed design of individual parts of the device electronic wiring and selection of suitable sensors. The result of the thesis is the basis for the production of the proposed device and created service program.
Heating System Central Compatible with eQ-3 Platform
Kažimír, Miroslav ; Šimek, Václav (referee) ; Vašíček, Zdeněk (advisor)
Efficient heating management can contribute to significant energy savings and by that to save the environment. This bachelor thesis deals with design and implementation of a functional prototype of the central for heating control based on Raspberry Pi 3 platform, which is used for wireless management of the eQ-3 MAX! system's radiator thermostatic heads. Part of the work is also the creation of a thermostat that measures air temperature and relative humidity. The user has ability to pair devices with central unit and control the system via the web interface. The resulting central unit can be installed alongside another application on the Raspberry platform, which makes it possible to save money. At the same time, the work enriches the eQ-3 protocol reverse engineering community.
Home gate for IoT devices using Z-Wave technology
Resler, Tomáš ; Krajsa, Ondřej (referee) ; Hošek, Jiří (advisor)
This dissertation deals with the platform Z-Wave. This platform tries to create an universal system for smart home. The theoretical part of the work describes in details the platform itself as well as the applicable libraries for programming of applications and the available equipments. The practical part presents the new custom gateway. The hardware of this gateway is designed with utilization of the Z-Wave module, Raspberry Pi 3 microcomputer, touchscreen, powerbank and the body of the system. The body has been designed in the Solid Works CAD system and printed on a 3D printer. The needed firmware was loaded into the Z-Wave module ZM5304 and this module has been interconnected with the Raspberry Pi 3 through the printed circuit board of the custom design. The gateway drives OpenZWave network through the new own application written with help of Python wrapper of the library OpenZWave and other open source components. The part of the work is also the list and description of the alternative commercial gateways available on the Czech market.
